(Saugus, MA) Jan. 14, 2025 – The Saugus Department of Public Works is dealing with a water main break on Bacon Drive the morning of Tuesday, Jan. 14.
The DPW and contractors responded to Bacon Drive this morning for a water break that has caused water to run off onto Adams Avenue. Crews shut off water in the area to fix the break, leaving approximately 35 households temporarily without water service.
The DPW anticipates water service will be restored to affected residents by noon on Tuesday, Jan. 14.
Crews put down salt and sand to improve roadway conditions while the water break is addressed. Please use caution when traveling in the area of Bacon Drive and Adams Avenue.
Detours will be established as needed to reroute traffic while the broken water main is repaired. The Town of Saugus thanks you in advance for your patience and cooperation while this work proceeds.
